Fishing Captain George Pfeiffer
Fishing Captain George Pfeiffer was born and raised in the beautiful Florida panhandle city of Pensacola. He has lived on the water his entire life, working for his father who was in the boat business from 1954 until 2004 when he passed away.
He started fishing off his own dock on the Emerald Coast when he could barely hold a rod. Since then, he has fished the waters of northwest Florida, south Alabama, the Alabama Gulf Coast, and the Mississippi Delta.
Captain George has experience in every setting—rivers, back bays, and the offshore waters of the Gulf of Mexico. While working with his father, he also fished commercially for Red Snapper from Panama City and Destin to the Texas Gulf Coast.
He has caught massive Yellowfin Tuna off South Pass, Louisiana, fished for Cobia, and trolled for Blue Marlin in the DeSoto Canyon. With over 45 years of offshore fishing experience, he knows where the big fish live.
Captain George has built his own fishing reefs for more than 40 years, giving him plenty of red-hot fishing spots. He, The CAT, and The Emerald Spirit regularly compete in local fishing tournaments.
Holding a U.S. Coast Guard license for over 45 years, Captain George is well-respected across the Gulf Coast. Just mention his name at any marina or tackle shop—he’s known for putting anglers on the fish.
